The khtml effort is promising and we may hope for "something" in
summer. But while living in MOS land it is wise not to focus on dates
    too much.
Think of autumn and either it's is forgetten by then or you will be
positively surprised when it becomes available earlier or on time
    then...

Uhm well, the deadline for KHTML has passed already.
The bounty is at >2000 so money is probably not the reason.
The broken pegasos neither i think.

A KHTML port alone doesn't give you a browser. Someone has to code a browser around any KHTML.mcc. So maybe it's time to start another bounty for coding a browser using the KHTML engine?

If my understanding of the bounty is correct, you are right, since only a very simple browser (to test the engine) will be included.

However, is the KHTML port mature enough for someone to start coding a browser using it?

I doubt that since marcik switched the code base just recently. I guess he will tell when there is something, currently he's working on his university exams (I heard exam time in Poland is some kind of hard, you might be surprised by sudden exams, thus better learn in advance).

Sure FF is open source, but that alone is not enough. It uses the GTK or MFC frameworrk very much. Both of that frameworks are not available for MOS. Well, there is the GTK->MUI wrapper, but it is still a lot of work...

The KHTML approch is way better suited for MOS. And I guess we can have some faith in Marcik, he showed quite promising results already. But it takes some time.

If you are eager to help you may consider to contact the AWeb team, coders are always welcome there I guess...
