Hi there !

I just got a GMail account. They only have secured pop & smtp servers, which I tried to setup into SimpleMail, without any success so far.

Is anyone using a GMail account with SimpleMail with sucess ? or simply any secured account with some other providers ?

As for now, I only got "Failed to connect to the server" messages when trying to fetch emails.

Do you have AmiSSL v1 (not v2) installed? If not install it (you can have 2 version installed at one time). It's needed if you want to access SSL accounts. I've just configured SimpleMail 0.27 to use my GMail account and it works without problems.

Oh, well ... I'll reinstall AmiSSL v1 then !
I only have AmiSSL v2 at the moment.

I don't have any invite left, so I advice to use http://isnoop.net/gmail/ - it where I got my invite :). Ahh, and it doesn't work with amibrowsers (atleast not with IBrowse and Voyager).
