    Hi,

From Virtual GrandPrix2 homepage one can read: "An AmigaOS/MorphOS porting is currently being considered, too."

Screenshots looks cool, but VP1 on Amiga has big disadvantage - controling (it runs only with mouse or joystick). I hope, that the keyboard support will be add :)

I am looking forward to the MorphOS DEMO to test it :o)))

Registered and posted in the forums. It'd be real nice to have, we have quite few racing games...

The Virtual GranPrix2 programmer has a Pegasos II? If not, he needs one!

I'm trying to contact the author (Paolo Cattani) on Genesi's behalf, since he has been offered an ODW from BBRV. A couple of years ago he tried to get hold of a Pegasos for 650Euro but didn't succeed, so I think he might appreciate to receive a Peg2...
I hope to be able to give you good news about this soon(ish).
Now, you might want to read a review of VirtualGP2 here: Racesim Central VGP2 Forum (oh, and before you wonder, the review was made on Mac, most critics are PC users who only got a simpler arcadeish conversion, because it was published by a different Software House - MorphOS would get the real thing).

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

OK, I received his answer. Good news, as I hoped (actually, even better). Now we can hope it works out nicely between him and Genesi/Freescale.

Regarding VGP2 on MOS, it seems that the OS already has everything that is needed for a port. We lack a couple of "optional" components that Paolo said would enchance the gaming experience: steering wheel and pedals support in Poseidon (with Force Feedback, even), and an OpenPlay implementation for Online/networked gaming.
So, if anyone has some spare time :-P

    Kind regards,
    Andrea
