    Hey

I've been trying to get PPaint (latest aminet version) working for ages but it, well, just won't. After doublclicking the icon it says loading PPaint then the titlebar flashes red once and then nothing.

I've tried setting the Blit & 15khz options in the configfile and setting the env options PBlit_Agnus and PBlit_ChipMen. None work.

After a bit of SnoopDossing the only fail seems to be it failing to find the audio.device.

Try my settings - besides the pathes you may have to adjust the display though, I have a Radeon 7500.

At me it starts well, but has a lot of features not working (like F9/F10, ARexx macros, Fonts, etc.) and freezes a lot of time. Im looking forward the native version...

    Thanks a lot.

It still doesn't work. I use a Radeon 7000 is there anyone with the same setup?

Did you try the latest Aminet version? According to an old post I saw in the forum while I was searching for a solution to my problem it said the Latest aminet version works fine with MOS.

From what I have heard and seen it hits the hardware of the classic Amiga a lot at startup, then it works SOME after about 20 mins. I would just try something else. A good choice is TvPaint. Its free and works perfectly under MorphOS. You can get the latest version off the amigaworld.org site note thats .org and not .net! www.amigaworld.org

Yes, TVPaint is very nice, works fine, etc, but at me TVPaint's windows handling stops working if I switch screens with Amiga-M. (If I switch with the topright menu the problem does not appear. I use Pegasos II and MOS1.4 - we were tested, on Peg1 it worked fine but on an another Peg2 there was the same problem.)

It was reported that old Personal Pain 7.0 works. Give it a try.

Press some command, window or alt key (I don't remember exactly) when TVPaint input doesn't work anymore. And it will work again.
