Any chance of VPN for MOS?
RDesktop is kinda useless without it.
I work from home sometimes and must have VPN and RDesktop to operate.

I'd also need an OpenVPN client to be able to work from home using MorphOS, now I have to switch to Debian...

Not heard of that.

A VPN capable router would do the trick.
Just setup the VPN inside the router.

"VPN" in itself is not precise enough.
Since they are all different and use different custom protocols, you should really tell which VPN you are talking about... And maybe also describe the network topology you must "workaround".

And, again, for something as simple as RDP, ssh -L is more than enough. As long as you can forward some port through the company's front machine, of course.

i dig up this little topic to say i would be interested in a bounty too, for an openvpn client.

Actually i use windows clients in VPN SSL mode to access distant ressources like smb network shares, printers, local webservers etc.

i saw an old topic on pegasosforum (http://www.pegasosforum.de/viewtopic.php?t=4514)
refering to a 2.2 port, but it is all in german and from 2011 so...

first, is a port doable regarding our tcpip stack ?

Seeing how long the mos team struggled to release its own network stack, i suppose support of TUN and TAP won't be available anytime soon.

I think Nadir's post makes it pretty clear that in order to make VPN possible, someone from the MorphOS Team would have to modify the networking stack. This is less about our interests and more about actually having spare time to do this.
