I have tried SimpleMail and I can connect to gmail IMAP server but I have to activate the less secure option in gmail ( https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps ).

It's really dangerous to activate that gmail option?

Another question. If I delete a mail in SimpleMail I can see the trash icon but never is deleted. What I'm doing wrong?
