I've done a fresh install of morphos 2.7 and started filling it back up. everything seems to work fine except GenesisPlus. It opens fine and then i select a rom hit the start button and it loads a black screen.

Hi. Does the program actually lock-up or can you exit from the black screen back to the user interface? Also have you tried toggling some of the options like windowed mode and overlay etc.? Check that your AHI Sound Preferences are setup too, something like 16 bit stereo++ 44100 for each music unit should work. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem under 2.7 so it should still work as usual.

Perfect time for a "egg on your face picture". Completely user error fault, i was trying to run the rom still in its .zip

GenesisPlus_MOS has been giving me issues since the 3.1 and 3.2upgrades. In 3.1 it freeze the system, and
3.2 gives an irratic screen behaviour and a frozen program meditation. Anyone else notice this,
and is there a fix?

Everything seems fine now so no clue. If it acts up again I'll post.

I will probably compile some fresh versions of each of my emulators in the next couple days just to make sure they are done with latest GCC and fix fullscreen modes for G5.

It should work a little better on G5/r300 setups that do not have 16bit screenmodes currently
and also on laptops that do not have standard modes available like 320x240 640x480 etc.
non-overlay modes will still display wrong on G5/R300 setups but should not crash at least.
