@Intuition: Only MIPS-desktop which is halfway decent I've read of is a Loongson 3B based one (
klick). But I don't know how the availability in any other part of the world apart from China is. Apart from that our current PPC-hardware, the PCIe-Macs or Amigas are the next best choice for 'alternative'-CPU desktops. Which I think it is quite funny.
