Right. Olaf has plainly stated (excuse if not exact quote) "leaving things in better shape than one finds them"
No one should doubt his motives.
But "guess"?
The only way creditors recoup anything it through Hyperion's survival, afaik. Ergo that is where the money would go. That includes Ben as one of the creditors, as stated prior in this thread.
