For testing I am running Ubuntu 12.04 powerpc32 on a non smp kernel on my Tabor. So single core, emulated FPU . This configuration has performance on par with the Sam460ex under Linux for most functions,with Video, Audio and Rendering among the areas that are impacted by the FPU emulation. Mplayer video playback does not work so this is one area were the actual FPU emulation is an issue under Linux.
