I have a problem... I would like to install a PPC Linux distro (Adélie) on my X5000, but unfortunately the installation media (.iso image) is incompatible with my hw and needs a PowerPC Mac to run.

I was wondering, if there is some Powermac owner here who would like to help? The task would be to install the distro on some media on a Powermac, and then make an image (e.g. with dd) from the partition (or a package of the whole root filesystem). The procedure is relatively simple for those familar with Linux, but takes of course some time.

I have alredy tested a stripped filesystem of that distro on my machine, and it boots ok, but I cannot make it load any desktop. It would be simplest to create a working filesystem with the installer.
