I have a problem with MorphOS PUP. It works on my machine very unstable. If I start MorphOS, system is freezing. Sometimes after few minutes, sometimes after about half hour.

On clasic AmigaOS 3.1 my machine works without any problems and it was stable.

Processors have good coolers and their temperature isn't too high for sure.

Voltage on the PPC card and wherever is properly for sure too. It had been tested very closely by my brother, who is specialist in this things.

I checked it on various memory chips, but the problem was the same on each of those chips. I also tried to use 60ns/70ns speed of those memory, nothing helps...

Previous version of MorphOS was unstable too (even more, it usually caused freezing after few seconds).

My PPC card is overclocked, but even if I was back to orginal 240 MHz it haven't help.

    Now I've got A1200 with PPC 270 MHz, 68040 33 MHz and 128 MB.

Maybe somebody had similar problem? Please help me if you have any ideas what more could I do...

this sounds as overheating IMHO. It doesn't necessarly rely on the processor itself but at some other crucial component (ie power management-ram controller etc)

btw... post the specs of the card (actual/original Mhz of the PPC chip)

I had tried to give as many work as possible for my PPC on MorphOS (processor was 100% used) and it wasn't freezed faster than usually (it works even much more stabe).

MHz of my PPC I wrote in last post...

I'm using registrated version od MorphOS.

Yesterday my MorphOS was working stable all day. Today it froze just after I had started system (each time I did it, the situation was the same...)

Nobody have any ideas why it could happen?

Your hardware is unstable for reason or another... impossible to say why.

But he said that his Amiga is stable when running AOS 3.1..

Anyway, i'm experiencing relatively frequent freezes on MorhpOS when i run 68k apps. Not as frequent as Adam_k reported, though.
Also, when these freezes happen and i do a reset, i'm greeted with a system failure requester window, from the "set" command. This requester doesn't go away no matter how many resets i do. The only solution to get MOS to boot again is to switch off the PSU of my Amiga for a few secs.

    @AmigaMancer

AOS 3 runs on 68k CPU, MOS on PPC CPU... PowerUp/WarpUp kernels sit mostly idle on the 68k side.
