I want to buy a Mac Mini G4 in order to run MorphOS on it. It must work in Sweden and be in working order, but doesn't need a keyboard, mouse or original software. And I don't pay over price :p

    > buy the key from MOS, the price is the same than OS4.

Nonsense. The MorphOS keyfile for Mac mini is 79 EUR, whereas OS4.1 is between 110 and 150 EUR, depending on target hardware.

And on keyboards and mice, I have a cheap Logitech keyboard that works fine and a generic two button wheeled mouse that works BETTER then an Apple mouse.

Yes, I got a mouse and a keyboard already. I rather have a cheaper price than those included :)

The MacMini PSU is rated from 110 to 240V so any (non-swedish) one should work (you might need to replace the plug).

A quick look a wikipedia suggest that Sweden uses the same plugs as Germany/Austria/Netherlands.

The plug on my Mini (which is allready sold) also features the hole needed for ground pin as used in France (and maybe elsewhere), so it's quite likely that a French Mini would work without modifications too.

wherever you'll buy your MacMini my suggestion is to buy the 64MB of videoram version. You can find 64MB only on 1,5GHz version of the mini and is a bit rare. All the others (1 GHz; 1,25GHz; 1,42GHz) are easier to find but have just 32MB of videoram. Be patient and buy it only when you find the 1,5 one and be sure it's not just a 32MB one overclocked to 1,5GHz!

It's 1.25, 1.33 and 1.42. And the 1.33 GHz version is at least as rare as the 1.5 GHz version.

I agree with Miky060, since I have observed myself a couple of 1.5GHz Mac Minis being sold (at Ebay mostly) that only have 32MB VRAM and nowhere is being stated that the machine is overclocked..

So, what wouldn't be "over price" for a Mac Mini @1.5 GHz; 64MB VRAM; 1 GB RAM; 100 GB HD and registered MorphOS?

"Usually" Mac minis G4 1,5Ghz go around 150-200Euros. Obviously you can find it cheaper or more expensive..

1.42 and less minis has only 32M VRAM.. If you not need 3D layers and others (like high resolutions screen) then you can think to buy this mac.
But better (but a "little" more euros) is 1.5Ghz (but not overclocking!!!) minis with 64M VRAM.
