I am doing summercleanup and stumbled across these Kingston HyperX RAM blocks.

    Link to ebay.co.uk

Apparently they also work on a PowerMac (Link to Mac RAM Direct) if one of you would like to give your PowerMac-system a little more kick :-)

They gave me a noticeable speedincrease when I installed them in my PC originally.

Nice1Cas2 DDR400. I had similar HyperX memory in a PC a couple of years ago. Very reliable stuff.

Can a Mac's memory settings be changed?

This memory should work in Mac Mini's (one stick anyway), MDD Powermacs and earlier G5s.
