I switched to ScalOS. Great job! Contains several bugs, but only one critical (compared to Ambient which is too disfunctional). When i start a shell from Tools menu is does not inherit system default search path. Only C: and MOSSYS:C are there. It's too annoying to type Path bin: ADD every time in order to be able to compile anything.
It's not only shell issue. Any program lauched from ScalOS does not inherit the path.
Can this be fixed? It's VERY BIG problem.

    1. Too lazy to write all my PATH commands twice. ;-)
    2. This doesn't fix problems with other software launched from ScalOS.

    Hi,

I've been investigating a bit about the "lost path" problem, and I think I finally found the real problem.

A solution is currently being tested, and will be part of next Scalos release.
