Hi, I installed the Scalos beta and it's working quite well here. I did notice a few problems though. Here is a small list:
1. Missing mcpframe.mcc, pophotkey.mcc and urltext.mcc which prevents the prefs from opening etc. At least providing some links on the scalos site to download locations would be nice.
2. Most of the prefs are preset to nonexistent files. For instance the patterns in the pattern prefs all seemed to be configured to someones personal system instead of being blank. Several default menu options do not work. etc. (perhaps I selected wrong settings during install?)
3. I did encounter some window freeze-ups but using the ramdebug boot option seemed to fix/bypass the problem.
On the positive side I am enjoying Scalos so far and it seems reasonably stable once everything is in place.
