    I like MosNet.

"Net" because you said it will become more than a plain tcp/ip.

"MOS" because it id for MOS and from Moskva.

If you were French I guess there was no doubt that "French connection" would be the best name...

I choosed MosNet cause it's realy clear.
MOS cause it's for MOS and NET caus it gives net to the system.

    Easy to remind .

    BS! :-)

None of the names fits into the system.

We have things like trance, jungl, reggae..

    TCP should be hardcore :)

Daytona? No please... it would remember a lot to the broken Java-on-Amiga-dream by Holger Kruse - who developped the kinda-standard-TCP-stack for Amiga / MOS-users to date. Me think.

I voted MOSNet, but I also think "DRAGNET" would be a rather cool name :)

I agree. It is by far the worst name. In general, I loathe the "MOS" abbreviation. MacOS isn't abbreviated "MOS" either. The name is MorphOS and it is surely not too long to be spelled out in full.

    Okay, MOSNet has won.
Changes are already in the CVS.
Sorry, forgot to copy updated C: directory to my ZIP cartridge. Will bring it tomorrow.

damn MOSnet sounds like a soap brand. It also sounds like we couldn't find an original name.
