Thanks veru much to MorphBounties team who allowed me to take a partial donation. As my answer, following the rules, i provide the fill source code in its current state in the CVS at http://sourceforge.net/projects/unmorphos.
Module name is "ezTCP", the same as before.
It is not v0.14 but v0.15 snapshot which is currently under development. So miami.library won't compile (though it's extremely easy to fix), sorry.
I continue my work on bounty task (finishind DNS configuration support for DHCP anf proceeding to main GUI). However, if someone wishes, he could take another task which is out of this scope and join the development. Possible tasks are:
1. Creating and maintaining native builds for other Amiga-derived OSes (AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS4, AROS).
2. Integration of other networking protocols (IPv6, PPP, PPPoE, AppleTalk(?), IPX(?), etc)
3. Adding more SANA-II device drivers.
4. (?) Adding more socket-based subsystems not directly related to internetworking (IRdA, BlueTooth, IEEE1394).
5. (?) Implementing UNIX domain sockets for easy local IPC superseding ixemul.library.
6. Building missing server-oriented components (inetd, etc).
7. Your suggestions - ?

About the name: well, if we develop this way we go beyond the concept of "just a TCP stack" and become an ultimate communication solution. So probably new name could sound like "OpenNet"?

maybe its not so important since nobody reports anything about it, or its just my setup, but in terms of speed it should transfer stuff about 10-15 times faster on a
100mbit nic, still trying to copy this same morphospup.iso¨
from pc to mos, on v0.14 it took about 70 secs for this
27 meg iso, v0.12 used about 35 secs, so twice as slow.

anyone who get full 100mbit speed, please reply so we
can be sure that its not a 1600usd stack that performs
this pathetic and its my shi-tty setup thats causing this

Someone should check on the availability of the name "OpenNet". I like the name, but it sounds like something that may already be taken... <shrugs>

Lots of things out there called OpenNet. Just call it "MoscowTCP/IP" its fitting.

If it evolves beyond a "mere" TCP/IP stack, MoscowTCP/IP is not fitting... But maybe something on the lines of MoscowNet or MoscowComm could do the trick.

As said I'd go for MosNet - could stand for both, Moskva net and MorphOS net.

If you want this stack up to speeds, consider opening a bounty to achive this goal. Another $1600 would be nice I guess. SCNR

However, it's once again amazingly funny that everyone repeatedly just cares for its unbelievably important name rather than just telling if they have the same floppyesque speeds like you (was this now the 1000th or the millionth time you asked about it?)

I'm sorry I can't help you there as this stack still looks so useless that I really don't bother trying it out. Not to sound too negative but: "I can bring up this stack from the dark ages to modern standards in 2 Months, honest!", yeah right.
