Acill, great to see you post so quickly. I've hardly had time to come back in from the MorphZone offices :-P

Seriously, I'll be eating dinner shortly, but hope to be done for a meeting of the minds. We've talked about this way to long, and it's time to get it into gear. I would really like it if someone could get DiscreetFX there too. I'm not terribly opposed to slapping up a button for his efforts either (assuming of coarse that he will accept funds in a seperate basket).

    Excellent job guys- and exciting...

I'm for putting up a button for Discrete's plans -but Please no Amizila or Morphzila or Open Office port donations - its a waste of money imho...

    :-(

And the money can be used for other much needed things like -

    RAdeon video output driver
    Firewire stack
    MythTv or Freevo port
    Java
    etc
    (things doable)

    Thanks magnetic.

okay, here we go. Early beta page:

    morph.zone/modules/more/bounties.php

Naturally, there is nothing to donate to yet. The first thing I've done is add a filtered forum topic list that is only the latest bounty topics.

I say the first bountie is a 3D driver what works the same way the Voodoo one does for Radeon Cards up to the 9200. Then a native TCP/IP stack with DHCP support. I know the MOD team is working on them, so what. If they release them then they get some cash for the work they did and we are all happy.

Great - thanks, Targhan (and whoever else being involved as well)!

In case you don't mind, I would already donate some money to initiate that OS4/MOS wrapper bounty for AROS PPC I mentioned - okay?

Maybe we could have a general "also interesting" section in the bounty program which would - besides the bounty mentioned above - also link to the new Team AROS bounty #30 (once that website will have been updated) for a GTK+->MUI wrapper (because once done for AROS, it will also be adaptable to MorphOS very easily)?

Okay, moved the "Thank You" pages to the bounty module, a new layout will come later. Have began setting up the email aliases to cover the bounties from PayPal.

I am letting everyone know this upfront before there are any more donations:

PayPal charges $0.30 + 1.9% for their services. I will NOT add this to any donations, nor will I try to cover this fact up. I think I will handle it like this: if we do a running total of a user's donations, then we will use the amount actually spent by the user; however, the pot for any given bounty will only reflect the actual amount available after PayPal's processing fees have been taken out. This, in my opinion, is the only fair way to go about it for everyone involved.
