    Sounds great! I saw a post where you mentioned the internal beta ran for hours without crashing when images were disabled.. I take it the image code was the main culprit behind the instability?

    Is javascript support planned?

    Thanks for the new beta, but I have a problem, only half of the
    window shows the webpage.

    From the readme:

    1. To use Sputnik you must install lastest MUI beta (http://www.stuntz.com/muibeta_20060922.lha)
    and some upto date Ambient (http://www.ambient-desktop.com). You may want also to copy
    Libs and Prefs dirs to your SYS: catalog. If you have in Libs: z.library you must delete it -
    MUI4 might crash if that library is there.

    .. I downloaded the archive just for the readme. :)

    To add a toolbar button does it as a workaround for me.
    (open prefs/ toolbar/ add)

    EDIT: Kaczus is right, just saving prefs is enough

    @jahc
    I think I have done all that.

    (written with Sputnik :)

    I hade the sam prob here, but followed all instructions (mui beta, no z.library, etc...).

    @mario

    That has nothing to do with that issue. The easiest way to solve this issue is to add some fastlink button (prefs->toolbar).

    Nice browser. Writing from it now. Working much better and a bit
    faster also. Some sites with some sort of html is still loading a bit
    strange, but thats just a minor thing.

    Great work marcik!

    It doesn't work with PayPal or is it just me? Because I really wanted
    to do a second donation to the Sputnik bounty using Sputnik (just like
    I'm posting this message right now!) as soon as Sputnik would allow
    it!
    Anyway, great work so far! :-) I can also insert emoticons by clicking
    on them...

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

    Have attached a picture to show how to setup OpenURL to support Sputnik. As it appears on my machine, Sputnik isn't taking a URL arguement from the commandline, so starting sputnik for a url first (as shown in the prefs picture) - is probably not a good idea. The Arexx section is, however, correct.

    Keep in mind that with MUI Alpha and OpenURL, that once the commands are put into the text-gadgets for the prefs that you will have to physically hit the return key to make OpenURL prefs "take."

    hello Mark,
    I had the same problem with the first Beta.
    please verify that you have the fonts in Fonts:_ttf , if you don't, the problem is here, create the folder and place your ttf fonts there. If you have the folder and fonts in there and still don't work, fonts are corrupted, replace them with good ones.
    PM me if u want me to send you the fonts.

    Hmm, I think ARexx port name should be 'SPUTNIK.1' not 'SPUTNIK'? Or
    OpenURL automatically adds number to the port name?
