What do you working on now, marcik?

Now mostly on my exams ;-). In free time I'm fixing bugs and trying to finally finish mouse-events support.

    Quote:

    Are the forms already working?

    Nope.

    Quote:

    How is javascript support going?

It's almost complete (only some date releated things are not finished).

    Quote:

Is it complete now? (For example are complex pages like gmail working now?)

Hard to check gmail without forms, https and cookies working ;-). But as soon as i finish mouse-event then for example fancy javascript menus should start working.

    Quote:

Is the release date (end of September/October) still actual? :)

If my exams will go smooth then yes :-). I can also add that some upcoming shows will be supported by a work-in-progress version of sputnik :-)

Q: What about AmigaOS 4.0 version?
A: No plans for it. I do not have hardware able to run OS4, but similarly as for AmigaOS 3.x the port should not be too difficult.

I would support a bounty to influence this port!

    Nice work! :-)

Edit: Just made some adjustments to the MZ_bounty :-o

There is a new AROS bounty about KHTML porting from the original source.

Pretty lame to open up the bounty with just $10, but I'm sure it'll grow lots.

There is a screenshot of SourceForge.net viewed by "Spieprzaj Dziadu" special Sputnik edition with yet unreleased TTEngine2 0.5 beta. Compare with IBrowse view. :-)

The shot was taken at AmiParty2 at Chelm, Poland. There is also a photo gallery from the meeting.

Btw. Pretty nice window theme. Brings much more Amiga feeling than the one from marcik's screen grab.

Glad to hear you passed all your exams. And glad to hear about Sputnik's latest progresses either.

And what about the first public beta? I am asking because we got a big Meeting in 3 Weeks here in Germany! With up to 50 Users and 20 guests, and the half of the Users that comes with a Computer are Pegasos owners!
It would be cool if we could show Sputnik to the crowd, like we did it with other Soft- and Hardware the years befor.

Some more features must be added first and TTE2 needs to advance even more. I hope that beta will be available soon but even if not and you'd like to show it at the meeting then drop me an email before the show and i think that i can find a sollution :-)

No new screenshot this time just an quick info. Thanks to Krashan hard work on TTE2 Sputnik finally renders sites with a normal speed (well, it's still a bit slow, but usable finally :-) ). Sadly that version didn't make to Pianeta Amiga and veeeerly-slow version was showed there (or wasn't show if they didn't recived my email ;-) ). But back to the topic - fast TTE2 means that I can start working on releasing a first public beta and it should be there in 2 or 3 weeks (of course if nothing unexpected happen :-) ).
