The browser maybe, but the code is great. Once its all done a better full featured GUI can be put into place. For now that CSS looks damn close to what Safari looks like here on my G5 and Powerbook.

CSS Zen Garden, in that image, is at least, as good as in Internet Explorer 6. An excellent piece of work!.

Oh wow. Wow. How bad does Voyager BLOW??!! Let me count the ways!

I bet other browsers look similarly awfull around the Amiga using

Some new screenshots here. Those tabs are actualy working, but there are some issues left (like changing url string content while switching a page).

Very VERY impressive! Impressive progress, keep up the good work.

Also, a big hooray for Marcik now that updates and screenshots comes almost daily, instead of every couple of months :) I probably reload this thread 10 times / day

Awesome! It really starts to taking shape. Honest, I had my doubts whether a real thing will arrive or not when I first donated to the bounty, but now it seems it will meet the expectations. Truly great job!

I like the Sputnik stamp too, now where have I seen that before? ;) Sputnik satellite is a big thing in history and it is nice to commemorate that.

BTW, next year Sputnik has its 50 year anniversary! The satellite that is, not the browser (developmen hasn't been *that* long yet) ... ;-)

I've finally traced a problem that cause some pages (like wikipedia) not to looks as good as they should (some fuck-up with fonts could happen).

Well it's not suitable yet for a real webbrowsing (first beta also probably won't be suitable - things like input strings, cookies or https probably won't be ready for first release) - but to see what engine is capable of, or to read news or wikipedia (but without a possibility to troll) then it's quite ok now :-)

Curently it's slow. Almost no caching routines are done. And TTE2 library, used for text rendering is in very-alpha version (and it's very slow because of that). But sometime in the future it might be as fast as ibrowse currently.

Seems there are still quite some fuckups with the fonts that need fixing ;)

bigfoot: I think it's your head that needs fixing. If you want bigger text, you increase the font size, you don't magnify the pixels. ;-) It looks good at the intended size... for people with normal visual perception.

marcik: Hmm.. I don't think we can use Wikipedia much without string gadgets. I guess for random article perhaps. :-)

No it does not, and I'm far from the only person to think that. The diagonal lines in the M are almost invisible, the middle part of s is completely missing. You might be able to still guess what the letters were supposed to be, but I think the point is that it should be easy readable, not just "readable if you try hard enough."
