k got to give an update to this. I changed the download folder in Sput setting and now files are downloaded smoothly. In many cases the download progress would not shown in the download bar and I got to check the activity in the MOSNet transfer bar to notify that a file is actually downloaded, but this is not a big deal after all. Maybe this was the problem before as well and I was thinking that the files were not downloaded. The point is that I cna now download some cools tuff ussing MorphOs and Sputnik!

i've downloaded stuff with sputnik 4th beta several times. f.ex. from aminet, from a webmail, and who remembers the rest:) downloaded files to both ram and hd works without problems...
i'll try rapidshare too when i have a little time.

    edit: you've beat me:)

I also don't get a download progress bar in this update and the network activity box appears borderless. Perhaps i have misconfigured the MUI settings, i don't know. Progress bar and network box appears as they should in 3rd update.

Thanks Marcik, Sputnik works like a dream.
Stable and fast, now hotmail works again.
I like the feature "Continue from last time", its very useful.
Thanks again, you are a true hero!

Rapidshare and Megaupload works pretty fine here with Sputnik ;-)

Sputnik works, but text is not rendered

I'm replying to myself, as I found the problem, and how easy it was. God bless MorphOS simplicity (a good heritage from AmigaOS), and SnoopDOS!

It's as easy as taking a look at the fonts database file. I've forgotten its name, something like "ttengine2.database". It is located somewhere in "ENV:" (and "ENVARC:", of course).
Changes are not applied immediately upon editing it, perhaps because the library is already in memory. After rebooting, everything is fine.
