A MiamiDX alike GUI would be overkill IMHO.

Miami/DX were written with a GUI in mind since the beginning. What MosNEt needs, its a sortof Genesis like frontend OR (as already pointed by someone) even an Arexx one. (better than nothing)

No needs of eye-candy things. Its enough to achieve all the settings in a more "human-level" way. (useful for no advanced users)

Yes, I suppose so. And I believe most people are right in that it should be little more expected as for the 'GUI-part', then whats currently even not specified in the bounty description.

I also believe Sonic is reading, and take it as feedback.

The current installer script supplied in the archive, does work if You connects using DHCP using the onboard 100Mbit ethernet-connector. If You have need for a static configuration for instance, this wont be set up by the installer script. You need to bring up the file interfaces in a editor and put in the ip numbers to use, and also in resolv.conf and probably also hosts. Also the usergroup.library is a separate archive, and will not be installed by the installer.

But this is what we have to learn for future bounties. To write better and more detailed bounty-descriptions. The aim with bounties is to give developers something back for the time and work spent in the creation of useful tools and applications, and to help creation of useful tools and applications.

3. Can anyone point me at a *GOOD* mailing list service? Freelists.org seems to be very restrictive.
4. Mailing list is easier to manage. In addition it doesn't eat my http traffic which is limited to 120 mb/month (previously it was 50).
5. I really don't force anyone. If you don't want, don't pay.
6. Mimimal requirements were something like control panel. It is there.
7. Okay, here is free development roadmap: please give me ~2 weeks. I'll upgrade TCP code and produce v1.1. Let's see what happens with it. This can affect speed, random crashes, etc. It will also add T/TCP.

Heh... It simply can't be done "at all". Networking technology constantly develops. MOSNet lacks IPv6, PPP, bridging, packet filtering, BPF, PCap... This list can be extended.
Many of these tasks are separate large projects despite they expand already existing software. If someone doesn't beleive, he can try his hands on it. The CVS is open for co-development under any condition, i put no restrictions, just mail me for getting r/w access. However, noone tries to do it... I wonder why... Note that inetd and TCP: are *relatively* simple tasks.
Please don't try to break me into pieces. Unfortunately it's impossible. I can't do all at once.
