    Can you please edit the title, it's (almost) inaccessible from the front page.

    And, Ebay?

    I can confirm these USB hubs work at high (480mb/s) speed, I've bought them from this seller so can recommend them.
    Of the two I bought, the included psu's one worked fine (5v measured) the other wasn't sufficient to operate hub-powered devices reliably (4.8v measured).
    Unpowered these hubs also work at high speed perfectly well.

    Hope that helps.

    The price shown for the USB hub you provided the link to above is crazy. I hope you did not pay that price.

    Look at the prices for the many USB 2.0 hubs on this website:

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=392&name=Hubs

    Not all of them have 7 ports, but several of them do and are only a fraction of the price of the hub linked to by boot_wb.

    Humm, if you live in Spain you have the problem altmost resolved now in summer the magazines give HUB USB or multireader cards, but here is the almost because sometimes the gif is more expensive than magazine but the quality, is poor but for 7-8 euros, is fine, I have a multireader card where the problem was in the cable, you have going to spain now in holidays.

    @AmigaDave

    Something's gone wrong there, they were about £6 or £8 when I bought mine. I suspect they've borked a bulk upload.

    That model of hub though.

    There are various sellers selling identical ones with different badges. They just happened to be the cheapest UK-based ones at the time I bought mine.

    Glad to read that you did not pay the £96 for that hub, or what ever price is on that link now.
