In Australia there is some crap asthma thing being run and they have stolen the MorphOS logo, diluting its value. (http://www.sensitivechoice.com.au/) I think Genesi should do something about this ASAP, since it is also running on TV and thus is not a minor issue.
Hopefully Genesi will sue this organization and will thus get some funds to enable further MorphOS development and marketing.

Have your glasses adjusted, pretty please.

    > think Genesi should do something about this ASAP

I doubt that the MorphOS logo is a picture mark of Genesi anyway.

To quote MorphOS Team member and General Manager of Genesi Europe UG*, Andre Siegel:

"Genesi is *not* - I repeat: *not* - selling MorphOS. MorphOS 2.x is a product of the MorphOS development team. Period. [...] Again, Genesi does neither receive any money from MorphOS sales at all nor sell hardware products that would be supported by MorphOS."

For a trademark infringement to happen two legal entities need to sell products or services that belong to the same product or service category / class, as defined in the applicable local or supranational trademark laws.

For information regarding the Australian product classes, please refer to the following web page:

    To quote their webpage:

    Quote:

    Look for the butterfly!

The blue butterfly identifies a Sensitive Choice approved product.

I think they are right: The products with a blue butterfly on it I bought were really sensitive choice approved ;-)

Look it the positive way: If they impalnt hat messgae deeply into the Australian society, MorphOS may benefit form riding their marketing wave.

Now MorphOS team doesn't need to buy the trade mark/patent/copyright/rip off assets from Amiga Inc to get publicity, but get a TV campaign for FREE! OMG! World domination is close!

    don't forget this site too:

    http://elbauldeltrastero.es/

Perhaps if MorphOS Team sues all of the people that use a morpho as logo and achieve a settlement for just $1 as royalties, MorphOS Team would became quite richer...
