$122 for a meal, but whining because MorphOS cost 150 EUR? I'm confused. :)

MorphOS is advertised to be "150 EUR (includes 19% VAT)". Given that I'm in Australia, do I have to pay the 19% VAT by law or am I exempt? If exempt then shouldn't the price be stated as "150 EUR (includes 19% VAT sometimes)"?

That's right. I also consider one reason.

Maybe the MorphOS team don't want to go below that, and since that they've set it once to 150 Eur, they see no reason to shift it. I can understand as many people can just save for a while and then buy it. Hell, people spend a lot on DVDs, theatres, coke n stuff. Not to mention peecees and their constantly breaking parts. Also living in Poland myself, people get AS MUCH monthly from disability allowance, often being the only source of their income. So about the people living in Western Europe, US, OZ etc., claiming to be Amiga hobbyists I can barely stand moaning about those prices.

Just please be happy you can get one!
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
      Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

Yeah, maybe they feel that they've got a superior product so it should cost more ;-)

I'm just having some fun, don't take things so serious with my psycological experiment. So far it's proven to be interesting.
