Abiword with ever release is becomming more and more platform independent, the new dev release (2.11) could be ported to morphos wayyyyyy easier than the initial 2.0 release.....and plus slap a nice MUI GUI on there and it would be awsome. who likes abiword?

it is wayyyyy faster than open office and nicer to use and have better M$-Word compatibility.....i think it would be nice to have it anyone else?

I'm according with you. Abiword is a very good Wordporcessor, and we NEED a program like it urgently.

i am almost sure that anyone who would say "give me a board and i will port and mantain abiword with an MUI GUI" would get a free board sent seconds later......i am just guessing but if i were bbrv i would give a board to someone willing to do this.....

I'd like to see this as an option, too, since after my favourite word processor FinalWriter there comes for a long time nothing but then the number two is AbiWord.

But later. Because we have to be aware that currently we urgently need to generate a market for our platform first - so I think it wouldn't be a wise move at the moment to destroy one company's effort to support us in releasing a commercial word processor by porting an open source one in parallel.
