    New things:
    1. Both domains www.morphos-files.net and just morphos-files.net work. (The second loaded main host page before).
    2. The orange "logo" now links to the main page.
    3. 74 files available :-).

If anyone knows a program worth uploading, please give a link here (but no 68k apps please, unless there is no PPC native alternative and the app has no problems on MorphOS).

On request of some software authors, I've changed the way of downloading archives. When the author hosts his application on his own site, the primary download link forwards the download to the site. Then there is a small "local mirror" link for locally hosted copy in case the main link causes problems. When there is no "local mirror" link, it means the download is local only. Because of all this I also have added some legal notices on the bottom of every page.

I also plan to add an application homepage link in case there is one. In the meantime - 81 files available. :-)

Homepage links are done already (I will add some missing ones in files submitted so far). I also learned how to use Apache mod_rewrite to hide that "xxx.php?something=834983&whatever=huh" stuff :-).

I have to move the site to another hosting. Expect it to be shut down for a few days.

Moving the site to another hosting has been completed. It is not Efika unfortunately, but will be even faster. The domain is redirected too, but the change has to propagate through the DNS tree (some of servers changed the entry already, but some not yet).

Oh... pity. What kind of hardware and software is this new server?

Just some virtual server on some server farm somewhere... As you can find, it is now hosted by Polish division of French hosting company OVH.

I still improve the site, mainly fix bugs. I've fixed a bug making 6 files unavailable (all three OWB archives and some others). I've also fixed broken links in the RSS feed. String search now accepts spaces and some other characters like dots and hyphens. It the meantime I continue to add archives, 93 for now. The site is being indexed by Google, I've had 3 visits from Google search engine so far.

1000 downloads have been reached in a month :-). This shows that MorphOS Files fulfilled some need in the MorphOS community. The archive will continue to grow.

BTW, webcrawlers are instructed to not download files (looking at the traffic logs confirms it), so they do not turn counters up. The result is made of real downloads only.

    Hi,

Top dl shows that reggae classes have high interest. Sad that Krashan can't work more on this subject.

I guess it is some misinterpretation of "can't work more" term. It does not mean I won't develop Reggae anymore. It does mean however I can't devote more time for Reggae development. It is a hobby, non-profit activity. As such it often looses the battle with so-called real life. But, what is important, Reggae development won't be stopped.

MorphOS Files has got a new logo drawn by skipp604. There is also new categories menu on the left. I have also a long list of files to add, so the number of archives hosted will increase. There are over 2 GB of downloaded data so far.
