No, there is some, the advances in video card memory are one area.
Your about to see the north American debut of MorphOS 3.10 on the X5000.

And there's a steady trickle of new software and ports.
Further, the demo of Amiga Explorer last night was useful.
I'd like to have something similar to that for MorphOS.

What feature of AmigaExplorer you are missing in MorphOS?
Maybe this could be added to Ambient.

I thought the tabbing was a smart function, as well as the preview displays.
Overall, it looks quite comparable to similar software in Windows and MacOS.

Its disturbing that what I find to be an inferior OS is getting so much development that they now have improved OpenGL support, support for newer video cards, eye 'Candi' functionality, and more new software in general.

Then again, we still have the best browser (and a better user interface), even after sharing that browser with them.

Isn't Amiga Explorer a file transfer utility? Do you mean Workbench Explorer?

I wouldn't want to go to a separate filemanagers again... it's better to have this stuff integrated into the desktop program (Ambient). Workbench Explorer is just filling the missing features in Workbench on OS4...

How is the MorphOS version of Odyssey better than the OS4 version?

MorphOS version is better, 'cause it cannot properly log into Google services :)

That would be useful, wouldn't it?
Particularly since I was relying on online editing software and can't use that right now.

So...once again, back to the Windows laptop and Office 365. ;-)
Not exactly out of choice, but rather necessity.

And Andreas, the version we're using seems to be a few revisions newer than the OS4 version, although AROS kind of has us beat.

If Mark finishes his work, we may still have a lead, at least until everyone else incorporates that into their versions (from what I understand, even the apple PPC community is waiting for that code).

It’s one single revision. MorphOS has 1.24 (while any MorphOS user who relies on a more recent SSL/TLS must use 1.23 from the MorphOS 3.9 ISO), whereas OS4 has 1.23 with crucial bugfixes backported from 1.25 (AROS).

Speed improvement by means of a JavaScript JIT is one thing, better compatibility offered by a new WebKit engine version is quite another.

Well, from what Fab has relayed to me, each new revision complicates the program for us, and I've used older revisions quite successfully.

In any case, having a WebKit based browser has certainly been nice.

I have forgotten why MorphOS doesn't have the same "crucial bugfixes backported from 1.25 (AROS)"? How and why would AmigaOS4.1FE have these "crucial bugfixes", and MorphOS does not? Is it just a matter of no one in the MorphOS community has attempted to backport the bugfixes from AROS to MorphOS yet, or is there some other reason why MorphOS can't, or doesn't have the "crucial bugfixes"?

Because 3.10 was not released so far.
