    MorphOS fully backported to 68k that runs nicely on the Pistorm32/UAE/Amithlon etc.

    We can but dream! :)

    Thanks to wayfarer we are better off in that regard than in the hardware domain.
    A good browser can fill the void of missing native programs.

    Of course more native sw is pretty welcome.

    So true. We've got Wayfarer that is pretty modern and HW that doesn't keep pace with it.

    GPT volumes support for MorphOS, all PPC Macs from mid-2005 can boot from GPT volumes! The open firmware DOES support it! And most of us use the latest PowerBooks G4 or PowerMac G5, so we could boot from those volumes. The partitions on those volumes could also be easily resized. I just formatted the internal SSD of my PowerBook G4 with GPT Partition Map and created 4 partitions, 2 of them for MorphOS to find out 5 min later that MorphOS Installer does not recognize GPT Volumes... come on, we are in 2024 :)
