    The NAS is directly connected to the same.
    I will get model info later today as well as do a test of unplugging the exact cable from my X5K and plug into my 2019 Mac Pro and do a transfer to make sure no cable issue.
    I will transfer the same file in question as well.

    It was smart to do this, as it does sound awfully like a cable issue.

    I also seem to remember that jumbo frames in some NAS don't play nice with some NICs. Anything in NAS settings to turn off?

    @amigasociety

    Just wondering: if you open Network settings and go to Advanced tab, are the Socket Buffer sliders both at 65536 bytes? If not, does setting them to the max value help?

    Just tried, unfortunately no.
    Same slow to not happening speed.
    I went into System and Advanced as noted and slide the two socket bars, one for send and one for receive, to the max which was 65536 and saved.
    Tried a copy and no luck.
    Even rebooted and tried a 2nd time but same issue.

    *then I typed in the tcpdump in shell and all transfered OK so yeh, whatever it is I am typing in this shell makes the transfers work much faster.

    Interesting. I'll try to see what tcpdump enables/changes in the networking stack settings, but as I don't have your hardware to test, I might not be able to help.

    Appreciate the help.

    I am always willing to try things as you can see so if you think something may help, just let me know.

    Thanks for the help.

    Out of curiosity, are there any Devs or others users here with X5K and running MorphOS?
