    Yeah, looks quite deserted. Maybe there's more stuff on the bottom side? ;-)

    Opening more tabs increases VRAM usage? How so?

    Sam460LE seems to be like the Sam460cr in functionality, just in another form factor (microATX instead of FlexATX) and thus with better utilization of board surface (i.e. no unpopulated chip footprints).

    You can fit double height gfx boards and you can reach the SD card slot from the outside of the chassis. As it should've been from the start.

    ...without blocking the PCI slot at the same time, yes. With a reduced board like the Sam460LE this is kind of a requirement and something the Sam460cr would have gained usability from as well.
    Btw, Sam460LE is listed as "Non disponibile" again.

    Obsolote motherboard for modern needs with a CPU of 1GHZ, slow for multimedia and slow to run 3D games, and almost slow for Wayfarer too.

    @Spectre660

    thanks, I missed it.
    SD card is nice.
    But at least with Sam440ep-flex R9 270X work very nice with current U-Boot 1.3.1g

    @ sailor

    I tested quite a few newer models of Radeon SI cards that did not work with my Sam460ex .
    So it is an issue.
    Eventually I found some Radeon HD 8570 models that work well with the current U-boot and
    RadonHD Drivers for testing purposes.

    My perspective Is from the AmigaOS 4.1 side .

    Good board for testing some stuff .
    Video Playback ain't slow with a Radeon RX card .
    I only play games for Beta testing stuff so not an issue for me .

    But my even more obsolete motherboard Sam440ep-flex 733MHz + R9 270X is nice machine.
    Majority of current games are playable, except Doom3. Tower57 has 31 FPS.

    Of course, multimedia are slower here and browser Oddysey also, but still usable.
    And Sam460LE have RadeonHD+RadeonRX video acceleration - UVD. So at least with AmigaOS videos are not problem.

    Of course, Sam460LE is not speed champion, but is not slow, and you can have here both MorphOS and AmigaOS.

    Unfortunately my perspective too, I have two mother boards 440 y 460 and the experience wasn't good, and more when you must buy the OS4 and the F.E. to Hyperion, the Enhacer pack to A-EON and the drivers for the Sams too. Too much money. And more important that board hasn't internal problems or freezes.

    @Templario

    Have had my current motherboard for 6 Years.

    Have observed two problem areas :
    Some power supplies seem to result in stability problems and
    the eeprom chip seems to be a little lose in the socket resulting in
    motherboard not starting sometimes.
    A little pressure pushing down the chip will resolve this.

    What about outside the EU? I live in the US. There's no retailer over here.

    When importing to the US you don’t pay the EU VAT but your local tax authorities might instead expect you to pay your local VAT for the declared value of the product in addition to any customs fees that might apply.
