The difference is for sure bigger. I guess you are using SFS and SFS tends to fragment the drive data a lot, which causes the system to slow down. On mini the ide hardware is faster than on other MorphOS hardware, so the effects won?t take place that fast.
Using an SSD removes the entire fragmentation problem and compared with the seek times the speed increase is quite noticable.
You simply just didn?t had a fragmented ide harddrive in mini to compare it with SSD usage. When updating MorphOS several times a week, this IS a big problem.
