    Dear Papio,
    I'd like as already said, to donate some (little) money to Fab because I use very much his Mplayer for playing audio, but I can't find a paypal button for this man!!!;-)
    Are you able to do the trick? :-)
    Btw I've already donate some little money to geit for his MMkeyboard that I use very well in conjuction with Mplayer.
    Thanx!

    @Papiosaur,

    I think I will accept your proposal and send out some donations today.

    I agree with Jim that the MorphOS Dev. Team members who are still actively working on updating MorphOS3.x to the next release version, should also be on your list of MorphOS developers who should be supported.

    From what has been stated in the past, it appears that these team members do not get any of the license registration money, as it is used to support the infrastructure to keep MorphOS going, and not necessarily as money for the developers themselves.

    They have also said that money is not the motivating factor for them completing their work on MorphOS more quickly, and that time and real life commitments are the limiting factors on how much work gets done on MorphOS between releases. With this in mind, I don't think the MorphOS Dev. Team members who are still active would turn down some donations, as a thank you for over 10 years of work on our excellent alternative operating system.

    @Jim

    Just for the record, in that list, there are several morphos team members (i can count 5 ;)). Not all of them, but still. :)

    @maurensen

    Thank you. Glad MPlayer is useful to you. :)

    Well I think os4 users should have a statue of Fab in their home town square :)

    I cant imagine the jokes from other team members to fab about this lulz..

    Anyway, good thread and if you cant afford a donation drop the developer an email to thank them for their work. You would be surprised how little feedback they get.

    I've already told Fab, Frank, and Harry how highly I regard their work.

    And Ralph Schmidt's kernel is remarkabl by itself.

    To all the others, my undying respect.

    > in some countries (like Germany) Paypal takes a commission of 0.37 percent on one euro!

    Wouldn't that be the same percentage on 2 euros, or any other amount of euros?

    10x for donation :-)
    I'm very busy in this period, I hope to use MorphOS soon :-P
    When I'll have time for Amiga I've a big bug to fix on OS4 version of NoWinED (without to have OS4, it will be a nightmare...) and some additional nice things to implement on NoWinED :-)
