Around 4 MKeys/sec. is quite lame since the G4's Altivec-Unit is still not used by the client.
Enabling Altivec will speed the client up to a rate of 9 Mkeys/sec. and a bit more.

    Kind regards,
    Ruediger

When will there be an Altivec optimized version of Dnetc?

    Yepp! It _is_ that fast!

    Take a look here: http://n0cgi.distributed.net/speed/query.php?cputype=99&cpumhz=1000&recordid=1&contest=rc572&multi=0

All on MacOS, but maybe soon I can post my MorphOS-Client as well. :)
