    You could have a look at Tools/IWizardUpdate.cfg on the 2.5 CD and try to follow that, this is of course totally unsupported and if you do have a corrupt filesystem on one of your partitions (HFS or SFS) you should probably get it fixed first.

    Updating MorphOS through carefully copying files is indeed possible. Mind you, files stored on CD don't have specific AmigaDOS attributes, and have to be set "by hand" after copying. That's whar those scripts do, located in the root directoryu of the disk. I've manually updated from 2.3 to 2.5, and my system seems correct.
