    @Amigadave

    I think you spelled, it out, too costly and complex for that one. I really think that considering an MDD FW400 costs ~$45 USD here, I got a good deal, and I will have no problem paying for MOS.
    My Macs:
    Powerbook G4 ALU 1.5GHZ 15" 1.5GB OSX.5.8
    Powermac G4 MDD 1.5GHZ OSX.5.8 MOS2.7

    Want a part for a Mac? Let me know, I'll see what I can do.

    Amithlon is amazing, questions and help I can provide.

    Do you think what ever payment Genesi made to the MorphOS Developers was sufficient to cover payment to the 2 dozen or so members of the team for 10+ years of part time work before MorphOS became a commercial product? I would say that you certainly received many FREE updates and improvements to MorphOS for a good part of those prior 10 years of work. The money you paid for your Pegasos went to the hardware distributor and manufacturer, not the MorphOS Development Team and these continued arguments are not helping anyone, unless it makes you feel better to do so.

    Dear AmigaDave did they get paid by Genesi? or NOT? And if they got money, part of the work was paid by customers of that hardware.
    It doesn't makes me feel better, but your arguments are empty.

    Depends on what "back then" means actually. So called "Betatester" boards (pre-April Peg1) were sold in 2002, i.e. by Thendic France. The first regular boards (April-1 and later April-2 Peg1) were sold in 2003, i.e. by Genesi.

    Ι have a dead peg 2 and a powermac waiting for new MOS. How do I prove my board is really dead and transfer the key to powermac once the new version is out?

    Please note Thendic France never changed name and never became Genesi (France?). And it was closed in january 2004.

    I just checked my papers: Thendic France was put in "liquidation judiciaire" the 2004/01/27. I was (alone...) at the court this very day.

    I would like to ask a bit different question.

    A colleague of mine has sold me his Efika + MorphOS 2.4 - can I re-register it to myself? Is it possible? or do I need to buy a separate MorphOS licence?

    You can use the license/keyfile he sold you with the efika, no issue with that, and since that efika is already registered I don't even think you'd be able to buy another license for it.

    @ aeon

    As the key is machine-based, there is no need for you to register again. If you really want, you can send an email to the support address to ask for a key with your name in it.
