I guess the mistake is in the complete path in wich MPlayer is.
In fact you use "Sistema:Applications/Video/MPlayer". Sure that nothing is missing?
I mean: I had that error using that command because I only indicated directory and not program. MPlayer is in a folder named "MPlayer". So unless you named "Video" the folder with the program MPlayer, you forgot to add "/MPlayer" complete the path.
And if I remember well, v0.91 had no GUI. =)
About link and page, the difference stands in:
link make you watch the video with right mouse+ contextual menu+ watch video only on the link itself.
Page allows you to watch video in the video page itself without pointing the link. You open a youtube page and right mouse+contextual menu+watch video directly on that page.
Or clicking mouse in the thumbnail.

MPlayer 0.91 is really *old* (6 years old). It could probably not even stream (or at least without cache, so extremely dependant on network speed at best).

So please use latest version, which is dated from september 2009. :)

I tried the python script first. Didn't succeed. Now It seems almost done with getVideo. I only wish to know where to get the rexxsyslib.library 68k version? It's neither on this site's downloads nor aminet.

I see Amiga Forever in your signature, you should have a working copy of rexxsyslib.library there, copy it to your LIBS: directory and rename or delete the one located in MOSSYS:Libs.

I managed to get it working before the new year, but haven't the time to post here, too many family compromises. Not it works ok, but there are some videos that won't play at all. It would ask for the type( i have for default the .flv) and when selected, be it mp4, 3gp or such, it gives an error saying it couldn't play the selected file. Seems that hd videos won't play at all. If anyone can clarify it better, would be much appreciated.

P.D: It seems that i was using the wrong mplayer. Installing the latest seems to solve the problem, as the config files were all ok, and it was the reason i couldn't find any error .

For the videos, hd videos are played here. But with no sincronicity (yep, I'm listening The Police ) between sound and image.

I didn't chose a preferred filetype so I can select and hd works.. but.. =)
I downloaded the file in hd and I have the same problem. Selecting one mp4 is much better.
Flv plays ok.
By the way, sometimes some youtube videos aren't played. Different formats? Or what?!?

First, only a mini >= 1.42GHz has a chance to play it a full speed without synchronisation issue, but you should disable skiploopfilter: -lavdopts skiploopfilter=all (or lavdopts=skiploopfilter=all in conf/config).

And then, depending on the HD files properties (bitrate, profile, ...), it might play flawlessly, or not.

I didn't hope a hd video should be played at full speed + syncro on my peg. At least it works...
I'm happy with the flv, too

So is recommended that no selecting ion the config file a specifically type, and leave the it asking you?. I will try that and see the result.
