Would you post your correct version for the 1.5 ?
Apple care was a hassle :-x Gave them the serial number off the mini and they said it was not on their system? There is a site where you plug in the serial number and it cranks out all the info. date of manu mdl, where made what week and what number of that week..

    go figure

What exactly are you asking? Correct version of what? OSX?(<- click link) Be happy to help you if you have an issue with MorphOS. Maybe take a look at other threads before starting yet another one? And please try to describe whatever your problem is with more details, trying to decipher your posts is getting tiresome.

Sorry, It was late. I realize that my posts are sometimes tiresome but I feel that MorphOS is worth the effort. Exactly who on the Zone has a Mac Mini 1.5 G4 that they used to install MorphOS 2.4?

Please reply and thanks in advance.

The threshold may be a bit higher for those who are just starting this journey (MorphOS). I have read most of the threads more than once and only posted when I am at wit's end.

I have a 1.5Ghz mini that I have installed MorphOS on as its only OS. What do you want to know?

Got one here, I still don't know what your question is. So before making another post, please stop and think what exactly you're trying to ask, and reread your post a couple of times before clicking the submit button, see if your intent is clear from what you have written.

If you want the copy of Tiger that came with the Mac contact the person you bought the Mac off.

or you could buy a copy of Leopard I suppose. But why not try MorphOS first eh?

Yes I want a copy of Tiger (the correct version) that will work on my Mac Mini G4 1.5 built September of 2005. I will buy it on EBAY once I know the correct version. There are many versions on EBAY. The person on EBAY I bought the Mac from is not sure of the correct Install disk version. She has many. I have MORPHOS on the Mac now :) MorphOS will be the primary OS but I need the Mac as a second tool.

Osco_ now headed to join a Mac Forum.

The correct version of Tiger will say 'Mac mini' on it. That's the version that came with the mac, and won't work with any other type of mac.

The retail version of Tiger or indeed Leopard will work on all Macs.

Leopard is better than Tiger, but will want more than the standard 512meg of ram. In fact Tiger needs more than 512 if you ask me.

I got 2 install-sets for the mini here:

THE MINI YOU HAVE, IS IT A G4 1.5?

Mac OS version 10.4.7 ?2006 that would be the CoreDuo
    Mac OS version 10.4.2 ?2005 the G4

--On the Mac Os version 10.4.2 ?2005 the G4

Mac OS 10.4.2 Tiger - Disc Version 1.0 and Apple Hardware Test 1.1. The instal Disc 2 is Disc Version 1.3. The only other numbers on the discs are 2Z691-5510-A for Disc 1 and 2Z691-5533-A for Disc 2.

    The above is on Ebay
