If/when MOS for Mac-mini is released, there will probably be quite a few MOS2.x users putting their Peg2s on the market, in which AmigaOS4.x users will be interested.

In many cases these AOS users would probably not be that interested in using MOS 2.x.

That being the case, will MOSteam be allowing existing users who have registered their Peg2 machines to transfer their existing license to their MacMini machines, and delete the OS from their Peg2 prior to sale?

I'm not asking this in expectation or anything, just raising a (rather obvious) question.

btw - The "Quick Help" page links appear to be broken - I'm using FF3.5.1, and all of the FAQ's link to blank pages.

    Thanks

    Rich

Just downloaded the installation ISO for 2.3, but couldn't find a EULA document (or equivalent) for the OS itself, which might have answered the question.

Have a look at RegTool, but you're probably better off finding a buyer with an interest in MorphOS. Even if the key was disabled for future versions it would still enable unrestricted usage of a current MorphOS release on the hardware.

It's not possible to transfer a license to another machine, unless the machine breaks down. If you're selling a Pegasos or Efika, sell it with the license. It's possible to have a new key generated for the buyer.

You'll find the registration terms in the RegTool application.

Exactly this i tried a month ago, when sold my Efika.
The answer was "no, it's not possible".

    Hmm?
