I don't really know, but would guess that you need to contact the MorphOS development team with the information from the previous owner and I am sure there must be an identifying number on the hardware, or in the firmware of your Pegasos2 that you must also send to them.

Look around for how to contact them, I have not had the need so I don't know. Sorry I can't help more, but I am sure someone else will provide you with some more info if you still can't find it for yourself. The prior owner would be a good place to ask as well.

    Nice purchase!
Maybe the MorphOS Team contact information page could be useful?

    Contact Information

The previous page shows Team names too.
One of them is Fab, that you can find here on Morphzone.
I guess he would be pleased to help you (as other members would).

    Quite Simple!

Just use the regtool located in tools drawer of your MorphOS partition. Fill out the form, sent and you'll get a message explaining what to do next.

I would guess it's the same number the MorphOS key is known to be bound to ;-)

I knew the answers were simple, but since I have not turned my Efika on in over three months and I am still a beginner here, I could not offer more competent answers. Don't make too much fun of me for being inexperienced and uninformed, I was basically just trying to say the answers were out there if he looked for them, since no one else had offered an answer yet.

I think you could have. At least you once knew about the "identifying number" ;-)
