MorphOS 2.x is pretty much a complete system, IMHO, and you will need to install libs only when strictly required: if you come from an Amiga background you know how it works, if an app asks for a lib, search on http://morphos.lukysoft.cz/en/ first and then on AmiNet. If an app doesn't start and doesn't ask anything, in SYS:Tools you will find Snoopium, the MorphOS version of SnoopDOS coming directly with the OS.
The only thing I suggest to do is copying the rexxsyslib.library from your original 68k AmigaOS 3.x (which is very likely you have) to SYS:MorphOS/Libs/ (rename the MorphOS one), and enjoy the system.
You may want to try AmiNetRadio for music (and all its players and plugins, many are MorphOS native) and latest MPlayer with GUI for videos. Try to configure Ambient MimeTypes: you'll find its dead easy, and makes really a great system to use, and configured to suit your tastes.
If you want some additional speed, on Efika, change MUI settings in Global MUI Prefs to Presets -> skin:Mahalaxmi, from the Settings pulldown. And try the Mahalaxmi skin as well to get a consistent look. Then you can adjust everything to your tastes (you know, it's MUI), or decide you can live with a bit slower setup with more eyecandy..
Have fun!
Kind regards,
Andrea
