No, sorry. The imaginary OS5 can only be run on a imaginary hardware.

Is OS5 the mythical version of Amiga OS that Bill McEwen (of Amiga Inc) claims has been under development for about two years?
Frankly, it would be nice if Bill and Hyperion came to a settlement. Because if Amiga Inc wins their lawsuit its unlikely that Amiga Inc will ever have access to the source code for Amiga OS 4.x.
Without backward compatibility, I have no interest in OS5.

Sorry, but you've got to admit that Bill makes statements (about future hardware and software) that are often premature and full of hyperbole.
Beyond that, Amiga Inc has always had a somewhat hostile attitude toward Genesi (and the Peg1&2). Could be that lawsuit (of Genesi's).This makes Hyperion's release of OS4.1 (for the Peg2) all the more amazing.
Honestly, how many MorphZone forum members actually think Amiga Inc approves of this port?
Since Amiga Inc's position is that all OS4.x ports outside of the Amiga One Computer port violate their licensing agreement (with Hyperion) it seems really unlikely that Amiga Inc would support OS5 on the Peg2.

The funny thing is a friend of mine (a big amiga fan who actually is an animator @ Sony) got banned from Amiga.org for starting a thread that Apple as Ainc beat and have an os "10" out!

This was right after bill mcewen and co (AINC) made the announcement about OS5 last year.

    McEwen in September 2006:

"OS 5 has been in development in Amiga by Amiga engineers and staff for over two years."

This would be about 4.5 years now.

No, not the Pegasos, just Genesi/Thendic France.

"Exec SG (Second Generation) - A rearchitectured and reimplemented Exec core services manager that allows the deployment of AmigaOS4 to any suitable PPC hardware including but not limited to the [...] Pegasos from bPlan"
    http://www.amiga-news.de/en/news/AN-2002-03-00221-EN.html

And from the then CTO of Amiga Inc.:

"We will be very happy to provide bPlan with an OS4 licence, and to have OS4 running on the Pegasos [...] It is not Amiga Inc preventing AmigaOS4 from running on the Pegasos. [...] What would Amiga Inc gain from NOT allowing OS4 to run on the Pegasos. Answer - absolutely nothing."

    > Could be that lawsuit (of Genesi's).

Amiga Inc.'s hostility towards Bill Buck had already been there before that lawsuit.

    > This makes Hyperion's release of OS4.1 (for the Peg2) all the more
    > amazing.

Why? Genesi and Amiga Inc. are foes, Hyperion and Amiga Inc. are foes, so Genesi and Hyperion must be friends now (after long years of Hyperion's Ben Hermans's hostility against Thendic France/Genesi), right? ;-)

You forgot Classic Amiga PPC hardware.
