I'm in a good position because I bought a used Mini for my son and found out that it wasnt going to be powerful enough to play the games he wants so I built him a quad core Windows box. So now I have a MacMini sitting here waiting for MorphOS.



MorphOS devel, I will pre-pay the $250 or whatever the price is for BETA TESTING MorphOS on my MacMini. Make it happen.

Nope, not going to do that. I'd rather see MorphOS on one of Genesi's next generation mobos or on Acube's SAM440 (including Flex). Not some random used Mac hardware found on eBay!

Dude, I could really care less if MorphOS makes it on SAM440 or not, but if it did, it would certainly be a better choice than some old used beat up Mac mini found on eBay. Amiga OS4 is already on the SAM and I'd be fine with that too.

You should buy that then, if Genesi should manage to bring out some new hardware with MorphOS support you can buy that too. I can see you've been registered here for 5 years now, so you must have had the chance to pick up a Pegasos 2, certainly a more capable platform than the sam.

There might as well be a 2.x update without Mac Mini support. It basically depends on the progress of remaining drivers and installation changes (which are quite complex for mac mini to be bullet proof). No date on the Mac Mini release has actually been published, it just has been said that it will happen after some general update which also doesn't imply that it would happen after 2.2 .....
We already have some important fixes in the pipeline which might be released before there is another update for a new platform. Don't hold your breath though, release candidates usually take a few weeks to be actually released to public.
