it's getting to where you cant have a discussion around here..general or otherwise, without (ignoramuses!) comments. no pun intended...

just missing the capability of fighting games on this platform MK1&2 were ported to amiga once. Otherwise this is just an enlightenment of another mk release whether boring or not to any followers of the series. What does it have to do with morph....nothing! but then that's the beauty of open dialog. say a few words and let it dissipate into the archives. 8-)

Well, my "WTF?" was refering to your suggestion to have a port of a PS3 game on Pegasos2/MorphOS (currently most powerful available MorphOS solution) or a PS3 emulation on same system. Both just plain impossible.

Anyway... I moved your post to the general discussion section if you just wanna have some thread about such games in general. ;)

I'm not a huge fan of fighting games, though I think Marvel beat that genre to the, *ehem*, punch with Marvel Vs. Capcom a few years back. Then again, there hasn't been a lot of innovation in that genre lately either. (Fighting, not crossover)

Emulation -- heh! Isn't MK vs. DCU an xbox360 game? I can't see that running in an emulator for a good ten years or even more.

At least older capcom marvel vs. anything & other cps1/cps2 games work nicely on MorphOS with MAME (not on efika though :)).

@targhan- I love Marvel vs. capcom!
the link Amazon.comshould have pulled up the ps3 ver. I'm thinking we had a bounty for a morph port to it, and got it, if I'm not mistaken

(morph port to ps3 that is)
side note though in regards to Tokai point and yours, years down the line.. but we can read blu-ray discs through usb currently can't we?

@fab I know dammit!! I'm waiting though for the next MorphOS option with keen interest :-)

Yes, the developers seem quite enthusiastic about that.

I'de like a Dreamcast emulator ;-) The possibilities: PowerStone, PSO, and the JPN only release of several Capcom vs. SNK fighter games...
