I'd like to say big thank you to bPlan and Thomas Knäbel! They repaired my G4 card and I got it back today with bigger and better fan. Works great and I can dump my old P90 now :-)

Their customer care was always high above average, I may say exceptional. Glad your machine works again :-)

I also had a problem with my Peg2, the OF I got with it caused memory
access to be very slow. But I got help from Knäbel and with the
improved OF, the machine is just great to use. :-)

That problem must have been "introduced" in newer versions of the firmware than I have!

BTW, I think it's about time for a general, public firmware upgrade. It has been said that a new firmware will be released when the new CPU cards ships. And who knows, that might happen soon now?

Memory was also slow on my Peg and bplan fixed that issue (well, it started to work after second OF update, first one broke MOS, but it doesn't matter now :-) ). I agree with you all - bplan is doing realy great job.

Well, if you ask me i still bet that i'll never be able to use an 1.7 G4 card in my Pegasos II Rev2B1, with a recent Firmware, all with officially buyable or available updates... :)

There were too many announcements made lately, and too few of them became reality yet, IMO. I'd be the happiest to be proven wrong though.
