    Probably not.

    People on the shows, but only a few info to the public. Why you want OS4 on Pegasos having MorphOS 1.4.2 that runs better than the latest OS4 version?

    Please think about that, and not only want a lot of updated even if those are crap, better wait more for having a better product ;-)

    Yashin, why do you think AOS4 is better than MorphOS ?
    Are you running OS4 ?
    What is your platform?

    @yashin71:

    okay... you go now and check all morphos sites and count apps which are natively available for MorphOS. Then you go to OS4 sites and do the same for OS4 apps.

    Next step is you count how much of these apps are simple recompile ports. I want to see the result in %.

    If you did that homework from me, then you can tell me online on #morphos (de3.arcnet.vapor.com) on IRC. Until then this thread stays looked.

    :-)

    regards,
    tokai

    OS4 has more tools in the default installation, but MOS on the other side has the more stabler foundation. It has also more apps, beside from SDL-Games and console-based linux tools.

    It is not. Not from users point of view... and really not from developers point of view.

    EOT.

    I would agree with you, however. OS4 development is happening at a faster pace than MorphOS. I expect by mid 2005 OS4 will have caught up and maybe even surpassed MorphOS.

    This, of course, assumes MorphOS stays at it's current revision - 1.4.2.

    We all know that MorphOS 1.5 is being worked on, but the release date and exact feature set is unknown.
    A4000/060/PPC-200MHz, A4000T/060/PPC-233MHz, CD32, MicroA1, Pegasos 2 G4, AMD Phenom Quad Core 2.5GHz, MacMini 1.5GHz/64MB VRam...mwwmwahhh :)
