seems there is a need about Chrysalis pack.

I will restart a new one for MorphOS 3.20 but with the "minimum".

Don't hesitate to do suggestions of contents.

This is some ideas:

- MorphUAE
- Some mimetypes (avi, mpg, odt, docx, xlsx, ods, ...)
- Stylos (demo version)
- Sigma (demo version)
- IPP-Print + IPP-Scan (demo version)
- Momento
- Iconos
- A launch bar

Do you have others ideas?

Can I suggest you add into the Pack, or maybe you could call it the "Chrysalis Suite" - to signify a new collection/era?!

I am sure there are more I could add, probably from the emulation range, and games, but I don't know if you have already got some in mind from those choices?

There is probably other productivity software I could suggest, but maybe you also have some you were going to add anyway, but here are a few:

- MakeCD v3.2d (FREE - Full version)
- Hollywood Player (latest)
- Metaview v2.9 (FREE Full version)

It would be great for new users to have such a virtually instant add-on suite that had been also OK'd by the MOS Dev. Team as a suitable resource for MorphOS to utilise.

@NewSense: i just want to propose a new pack of software for MorphOS ready to use.

i said a "minimum" package, of course all these apps are very usefull.

These apps will be of course available via Easy2Install quickly too.

I will check about BBC radios: what is the problem exactly?

@ Papiosaur - The thing is, in my considered opinion, that for a new user they are not likely to "discover" all those programs for some time, unless there is a new release for each program soon after they buy a licence, so having them all on an approved suite of programs for MorphOS would make it so much easier to get started, and enjoy using it.

As to find the benefits of the more useful programs without having to search the contents of the files on the MorphOS-Storage website to find even a few of the ones you and I have mentioned will definitely be beneficial to a new user.

It is, of course, up to you to decide what you want on your collection, but if there is space then why not?

The programs that I have mentioned do not carry any "baggage" that would affect the MorphOS installation anyway, so I would hope you will reconsider them all.

Honestly, I don't see much use for it. I think there are other priorities, rather than a collection of programs. Ultimately, all you need is Easy Install, which is always up to date and allows you to download what you need.
These collections of programs are generally the result of their convenience, but ultimately, the content is always what a person will never use for their daily use of the system.

My personal opinion. Obviously, everyone does what they want.
If someone uses and wants to use this system and comes from the Amiga world in general, they know what they want and what they're looking for.

If they are just AAC then they seem to play as expected, but most of the BBC Radio channels are AAC+ 101k or some variant of the AAC filetype, so the majority of those BBC "Sounds" channels do not work in RadioNet currently!

If I Iconify RadioNet there is no RadioNet icon, just the default "tools" icon, not sure if you knew that as well.
