Has anyone here experience with multiple monitor usage? I often play movies on my big monitor, but I would love to continue working on ambient on another monitor, is this possible with a second gfx card?

You need 2 GFX boards. The only 2 working solution are:

1- Voodoo AGP + Voodoo PCI (but different models eg.voodoo3 + voodoo4/5)

2- Voodoo AGP + Radeon PCI

No other solutions will work.

That's not entirely true.

Any amount of graphics cards will do, but with the following limitations:

1) If you include a Radeon in your setup, it must be the one which is initialized by OF. PCI is initialized first, so if your other card is AGP, the Radeon must be PCI.

2) Several cards of the same type won't work. At least with some drivers, not sure for all of them. 2 Voodoo 3s won't work for sure.

He asked how to get 2 monitors system so my answer was correct. Of course you can had also a third GFX board and a 4th..
To combos I proposed we could only add a third and last combinaton: 2 PCI Voodoo cards, but I did not suggest this before because it would be the most expensive and less pratical (you loose 2 precious PCI slots in one shot! ) solution.

So SiS and Permedia cards wont work?

mean to watch a movie on first and to work in
Ambient with second.

I believe, this is possible...
